Here’s a link to Geri Walton’s entertaining account of the sex life of Jean-Jacques Rousseau (1712-1778), a highly influential Genevan philosopher and writer and someone who was heavily involved in the moral and religious controversies of the day. Rousseau is going to make a very brief appearance in part 2 of ‘Casanova in Paris: The Shadows of the King’ as he attacks the idea of Casanova’s proposed La Loterie de l’École Royale Militaire on grounds of morality.
